Configuration The Bat

If you just install The Bat, you'll start account setup. If you have already installed The Bat, you must execute menu Account -> New..., and skip this instruction to second step.

You must choose Workstation with TCP/IP, here.

Input here name of account (username)

Input your full name (it will be in From field of your emails), email address, and, if you want, name of your organisation.

Input addresses of our mail servers, you can define the type of incoming mail server either POP3 or IMAP4, both work.

Input your username and password here (the one which was provided by us).

If you are beginner, we recommend you select "No", and press finish, else you can setup advanced properties of this perfect mailer.

To setup outgoing mail server, select your account, ans view properties, Transport.

Click on button Authentication... in Send mail box. In opened window select box "Use POP before SMTP authentication". Done.
